Skeletor is the primary antagonist in the Masters of the Universe franchise. Depicted as a muscular humanoid with a blue skin tone and a bare skull for a head, his goal is to conquer the planet Eternia and seize the power of Castle Grayskull.

Skeletor's origins vary across different iterations of the franchise. In some versions, he is Keldor, the half-brother of King Randor, who was transformed into Skeletor after an accident involving acid. Other origins portray him as a demonic being from another dimension.

Skeletor's first appearance was in the Masters of the Universe minicomics that were packaged with the original action figures in 1981. He is typically portrayed as a powerful sorcerer with expertise in dark magic and necromancy.

He is often accompanied by a group of henchmen, including Beast Man, Evil-Lyn, and Trap Jaw, who assist him in his schemes. Skeletor's constant failures and his over-the-top villainy often provide comic relief, despite his menacing presence.
